Kate has a long history in the sport of triathlon. Kate was teaching high school Phys Ed at Christ Church Grammar school in Perth when she took a leave of absence to concentrate on her professional triathlon career. Whilst being very athletically driven, Kate has also found a love for coaching and helping others achieve their goals. She's never happier than when an athlete regardless of ability achieves something they may have thought impossible. 

Needless to say, Kate has found her home in coaching and triathlon and will remain a figure in the community for years to come.
